Square Enix has started distributing the “Final Fantasy XIV: Golden Legacy Benchmark” from today, April 14th (Sunday), ahead of the release of the latest expansion pack, “Final Fantasy XIV: Golden Legacy” scheduled for July 2, 2024 (Tuesday).

In the “Golden Legacy Benchmark,” you can measure the performance score indicative of running the Windows version of FFXIV on your PC. While measuring the score, a benchmark trailer featuring maps and characters scheduled to appear in the actual game will be displayed, allowing you to glimpse a new adventure. Additionally, there’s a feature where you can experience character creation equivalent to the retail version, allowing you to enjoy character creation with the first phase graphics update applied to all player races, including the new player race “Viera (female)” to be added in “Golden Legacy.” For more details on system requirements and software download, please visit the dedicated website.
